Marion Bracq

Marion Bracq is a PhD researcher at University of Lille 3 (ALITHILA) and a guest researcher at Leiden University (LUCAS). She first worked on epic literature during the medieval period and the Renaissance during her Master degree. She is now working on the reception of Orlando Furioso in the French Renaissance and on the relationship between science and literature, two centrals aspects of her thesis, "The processing of madness and passions in the french imitations and translations of the Ariosto ( 1544-1615 ): medical, anthropological and esthetic aspects." She has taught courses on writing, on the history of poetry, and on the novel and science in the nineteenth century.
