Nynke Feenstra

Since 2013, Nynke Feenstra has been dedicated to improve the accessibility of society for people with sensory impairment. As consultant, she advises people and organizations about the subject of accessibility in the areas of policy, programming, communication and design. She works particularly in, and together with, museums. On the basis of her experiences in museum practice, she started her PhD research ‘Mechanisms of Inclusion’. This research focuses on the development of a new methodology for inclusive museums that combines social empowerment whilst maintaining museums critical function.
